I’m picturing a tropical rooftop garden surrounded by flowers with a view of the sea. I’m thinking of the Caribbean. My brother and some friends went to Guadeloupe and showed me photos from their trip, but it could be anywhere.
I can picture myself on a lounge chair. The sun is what helps me fall asleep; it warms my heart. This landscape must be high up, with the sea far away and flowers in the foreground. I think of the colors yellow, orange, and red. A very green, flower-filled landscape. It would help me practice sophrology and escape from it all.
For me, it would be a sense of calm, well-being, being at peace, serene, and free from pain. It makes me think of warmth. It would be a little corner all to myself. I picture a lot of green in this image, but I’d love to add some color, some flowers. That’s what’s missing—I can’t quite picture them. It would be something messy, unorganized, with lots of vegetation.
I’m on a mountain, surrounded by greenery and low-lying vegetation—more like small groves. This image just popped into my head during my session with the sophrologist. She had asked me to visualize a landscape, and this is the one that came to mind. It’s been a long time since I’ve had the chance to see a tropical landscape.
Your photograph would bring to life the landscape I imagine. It’s not a static image. It’s a feeling, a whole. I’m not fixated on any one specific image. It’s a landscape that’s constantly changing.
