I’m thinking of a natural landscape: trees, water, the elements. I’m from Cassis. I’m in love with the cliff near my home: Cap Canaille. It’s the highest sea cliff.
I was born and raised there. I used to go fishing with my uncle there. Cap Canaille really comes into its own at sunset: the light is absolutely beautiful. The best view is from the Cassis peninsula. The walk to this paradise starts at Bestouan Beach, which is where the peninsula begins. All the way to the tip, there’s a great view. Right at the end, there’s a tennis club, and I think that’s my favorite viewpoint.
It’s a place that invites you to escape, a peaceful spot I think of when I’m not feeling well. Right now, there probably aren’t many people there. When I go down south, my mother picks me up in Marseille. It’s the first place I ask to go. It’s an ochre-colored headland, crumbling away. The water there is beautiful. It’s a place full of energy that makes me feel good. This photo would evoke escape and freedom for me.
