There are certain houses and neighborhoods in Paris that I really like. In some areas, there are beautiful doors. I’m thinking of a townhouse located between Rue des Francs Bourgeois and Rue Veille du Temple. I wonder who lives there. There’s a garden out front. Avoid the storefront on the corner. It has two or three stories. The garden faces Rue des Francs Bourgeois, and the arcades face Rue Vieille du Temple. 

There are places like this that make you dream. I’m more of a Parisian at heart. It’s getting hard for me to walk, and I can’t do the things I used to do anymore. It’s pretty stressful. I used to have museum passes, but it’s hard for me to get there now. This place reminds me of the people who live here—it’s a pleasant place. A place where you feel safe—that’s surely what I need right now.
