I picture a photograph of a small village called Marigny-Marmande, located in the Eure-et-Loire department, between Tours and Châtellereault. It’s the town where my grandparents lived, and they took me in when I was little. I remember that there’s nothing in that village.

I lived there when I was very young. They took care of me for a while when my mother couldn’t. My grandmother’s house is on that street. My great-grandmother lived there, too. I’d like a picture of the church and the main street. A small photograph that I can carry with me everywhere and that would be with me every day.

This is my village, my fond memories, my roots.
