I just thought of a place in Paris. There’s a park where you can go rowing or ride pedal boats. I remember a waterfall in Parc des Buttes Chaumont.

When I picture this waterfall, I think of the sound of flowing water. I imagine a view from a bit of a distance, but one where you can see it clearly.

It’s a special place for me because it’s where my husband and I had one of our first dates. That’s where he proposed to me and where we kissed for the first time. We don’t go to Paris very often.

It was a moment when we expressed our feelings, 23 years ago.
